Giggle Gear Super Fort

Build Your Own Play Structure

After years of dragging out chairs and blankets and couch cushions, kids can finally build their own indoor forts without frustrating their parents.

Tired of all those blankets draped over chairs in your living room when your kids attempt to make the perfect play house? Here is your answer. Cranium has introduced the Giggle Gear Super Fort. This kit comes with everything your child will need to make their own indoor play structure. This includes rigid "noodles" to make the corners of the fort, flexible noodles to give some shape to the fort, nylon sheets of a variety of sizes and bright colours for walls, roofs, and floors, and an assortment of connectors, clips, and bases to hold it all together.

The Super Fort comes with step by step instructions to make the following :

  • a Super Ship
  • a Super Castle
  • a Super Playhouse
  • a Super Space Ship
  • a Super Tree House
  • a Super Racer

Besides those designs, it is adaptable enough for kids to use their imaginations to come up with their own play spaces.

Besides the fact that the Super Fort promotes creative play and is visually pleasing, it has a couple more pluses. The connectors are all easy enough that a child can put the fort together on their own without help from an adult (although many adults may find they want to get involved). Also, it comes with a storage bag so all the pieces can easily be put away in one spot. The bag even has velcro closures so the kids have no excuse for not tidying up themselves.

You don't need a huge floor space for these forts. Most structures your kids will build will take up a space of no more than 5ft by 5ft. Just be sure that your room can accommodate this without pushing the fort up against a heat source.
